Great for Paddington. I think that is a sub 20% drop. Still not sure it will manage more than 40 million.

The Greatest Showman is going to out-gross La La Land to become the highest grossing original musical of all time. And Jumanji is gonna surpass Spider-Man 2 as the second highest grossing Sony movie of all time. These are the most exciting legs for a wide release possibly since Avatar. Insane.
The new movies are over-performing, especially Den of Thieves, which will have STX's fourth largest opening of all time. Between Molly's Game over-performing and this, they're off to a nice start in 2018.

Re: Friday Numbers (January 19, 2018) - Go TGS!!!!
Jumanji dropped from estimates but still an amazing number/drop given the boost it has last weekend with MLK weekend. It should take the #1 spot though its Friday isn't very far from both the openers (minus their previews) but then again Jumanji has family crowd behind it.
The Post held well as expected, it should easily get past $75m mark now and $100m is no longer far fetched.
TGS's number again is just INSANE. Another sub-15% drop and its OW still remains its lowest weekend after FOUR weekends, at this rate $200m is not out of question.
Nice recovery for Paddinton 2, the original held really well with 35% drop but this one seems to be holding even better. The extra publicity of being one of the best reviewed movies of all time helped I guess.
The Commuter did respectable. Insidious is quietly giving a decent run, if the movie was better I think it could have become the biggest movie of the franchise.
SW7 has now started to hold better than RO. Even FMG managing an opening above $4m is good given the theater count.
