That's pretty spectacular for Jumanji. Higher than I'd have expected after its Friday number.

A decent recovery for Paddington after that disasterous opening day, but its still about 50% short of where it should be.

Jumanji is definitely becoming The Rock’s highest grosser now.

If estimates hold, The Last Jedi will be the fastest Star Wars movie to fall out of the top 5, beating Attack of the Clones and even Rogue One.

What's left of those when you remove all limited releases from this list? Because that makes TGS's legs even more impressive.

Jumanji has a chance of increasing between 60-100% over the inflation adjusted gross of the 1995 film!

In fact, it can make $392m (a long shot but possible given its legs), it would stand at No.1 for 1995 inflation adjusted! Just above Toy Story.

What's crazy is Jumanji's pushing for $400 m and never once had one day above $20 m. In fact, its Saturday was only 37.8% down from its top day of its run thus far, Dec. 30 of 19.4 m.

It now has the SEVENTH biggest fourth weekend of all time.

Similarly, TGS's Saturday is only 12.4% lower than the best daily of its run thus far. It could very well get to $150 m without ever even making it to the top 3.

Post Re: Weekend Estimates (1/12-1/14)
I'd say that $350m is a lock but $400m is still not happening. Once BP is released Jumanji will loose a lot of steam and this is the final holiday boost weekend, with next two weekends of action movies competition. With a multiplier of 5 from here it gets another $108m and that's $391m. Regardless its a over-performance which no one saw coming and its WoM is definitely great among GA.

The Greatest Showman has been an awesome box office run to track. More exciting than Jumanji or Star Wars in my opinion. It's showing no signs of slowing down.

Absolutely. Even with holidays those last two weekends were insane. Sub-15% drops in this competitive market is unbelievable

If you court the older demos with something they want to see - the film will be leggy. Showman just amps this up a gazillion!
