Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
It will do whatever the full potential of a full length theatrical movie based on a cartoon can do. 100m wouldn’t surprise me.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
My 7 year old loves the show (I cant stand it though). I think it can get to $50m.
I like the teaser trailer though.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
It does look cheap and that's another marketing failure like Deadpool 2's nail art. Ofcourse DP2 could handle that.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
It is an odd bird of a movie. For a box-office reference point, my mind goes to the second Pokémon movie in 2000; I suspect a niche audience will turn out, but it will drop rapidly and close with a modest-but-respectable gross. Should turn a nice profit in regard to merchandising.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
I don't think people know how popular the show is. But... will that hurt the film because it's so available on TV? Possibly!
But I think this will be bigger than people think.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
Not many shows have had good success in big screen. Also lot of DreamWorks sequels arguably failed because of being available on TV.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
I just watched the trailer now. Seems kind of enjoyable. I don't know if I'll end up seeing it or not but I wonder if I would be able to watch it without having seen the show.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
I'm sure you will be able to.
My kids watch it so i'll probably take them to see it. Never been a fan of the show, but the film looks enjoyable enough.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
Yeah, kids shows and films are made with exactly that in mind ... you can start watching at any episode in any season and "get" what's going on.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
Yeah certainly is the case.
The kids just recently watched Jimmy Neutron (the 2001 film). I saw parts of it and it looked OK.
Then they devoured three seasons of the TV show which ran in the early 00s - they absolutely loved it. But from what ive seen of the show - its horrendous.

Re: Teen Titans Go! To the Movies Predictions
The film is great. I watched that back in, well, must've been 2001, and I liked it a lot.
