Am I the only one not feeling Black Panther?

Looks downright terrible.

edit: Going by my predictions, it'll be a truly awful 4 months though.

I don't see comedies like Blockers or Game Night making much. They seem to be stuck in the late 2000s where that genre was already starting to fade.

Den of Thieves looks like something everyone has got tired of.

Wrinkle in Time has my vote for most likely to wreck the top 5. Followed Closely by Ready Player One.

So I am the only one, lol.

What do you see in it?

Is it just because there's finally a black superhero?

The whole premise is ridiculous and the setpieces and story look like repetitive Marvel crap.

I predicted $275m, so not the lowest but also not reaching the heights that others think it will.
What may help this movie is that people may view it as a sort of trailer for Avengers IW, as the character is also prominently featured in the trailer of that one, and certain plot points may be mentioned in this movie that set up the action for IW.

I think it looks terrible too but that's because I don't like superhero movies in general. I do think a lot of the appeal is the excitement over a black superhero. If Get Out could become a phenomenon and make almost 200 Million this will fly past that. Plus it's Marvel and will have great reviews.

Isle of Dogs is an odd one to predict. Wes Anderson definitely has a degree of crossover mainstream appeal at this point after Moonrise Kingdom and The Grand Budapest Hotel, but I wonder if the stop-motion animation might limit its performance.

I think Question #3 will be voided because The War of Grandpa will move out. But my provided answer (which was not included in the chart) was Peter Rabbit and Sherlock Gnomes.

Ah, yep, that chart is now fixed.

I really regret putting The War with Granpda in that question without there being a trailer. I definitely think it will move any day now. I guess I was looking for 4 mid/lower-tier family films to compare. I should have just gone with Paddington 2 being in there instead, but already felt it was too represented in my other box office questions.

Shit, I meant that PAddington would gross the closest to its predecessor and Super Troopers 2 would fall the most oh well.
