Less than GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY with three years of inflation...

Certified flop. WB needs to take a deep breath, regroup, and figure out how to get this back on track. Pink-slipping Snyder a good place to start.

There's so many embarrassing comparisons out there, I don't think I need to add to that dogpile, heh.

This is pretty much the wildest disappointment for a big blockbuster film I can recall since The Matrix Revolutions.

I just noticed that WB also inflated Friday/Saturday numbers by $0.65m...

This is only embarrassing due to expectations and potential. It’s not revolutions

Well, it should have been DC's AVENGERS and the opening weekend difference is $113m with 5 years of inflation...

LOL. Well sure if you strip it of everything, the only narrative left is: A film made $94m opening weekend. GREAT right? Let's celebrate.

Again, no need to panic if you look at the big picture. Any one who has been paying attention should know this was to be expected. What is great is the IM should signal towards decent legs. This film is not going to live up to its potential. Instead it was needed to set up future installments. That'show the film played and I think people are getting excited finally about the future of this series.

Right now they need to focus on making good, quality films like Wonder Woman going forward, give more pull to the directors involved, but don't pin everything on one director, especially if that director is polarizing and has a hard time making a quality product.

Play chess; think three steps ahead

So about $2m less than estimates. I guess Algren was right with $93m predictions. Its all kinds of bad, I think this closes up any chances of $250m, I wonder if this will do $225m now, needs a 2.4 multiplier.

JL basically has no direct competition until SW. We'll know a lot about reception observing its unchallenged status.

Also, Rob Cain of Forbes estimates that Justice League is on its way to losing at least $50 million for Warner Brothers. Might even go as high as $100 million. And if it goes that high, Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2 probably have to way over preform in order for even the rest of the solo films to happen.

Because it’s Warner Brothers and they make rash decisions...unless it comes to hiring and then re-hiring Zack Snyder. They’re going to want an overwhelming sign from the public to keep going.

If there's going to be fallout, we'll find out soon - SHAZAM is scheduled to start shooting in February, with both BATGIRL and SUICIDE SQUAD 2 rolling by the end of the year.

They're in the same boat with SHAZAM as they were with JUSTICE LEAGUE post-BVS - it's too far into pre-production for the studio to postpone it without suffering huge losses.

WB is really bad at this whole scheduling thing.

That should be easy I'd think. Wait for the dailies this week with school groups going before Thanksgiving. Should be fun.

When is Gotham City Sirens commencing production? Also what is the production status of SS2? I'd guess these will continue regardless of what happens with the JL line.

Best thing for them to do would be hope that WW2 and Aquaman are big hits and leave it at that until they can get The Batman sorted. Then move on from there.
