 Justice League- 130 Wonder- 11 The Star- 9 Justice League is really hard. The buzz seems less than for Thor, but I still cannot imagine it opening below 130m. That would just be pathetic. Wonder I think can get a 10m debut. The Star might tap into some religious audience. |

Not much love for The Star, which I agree doesn't have much going for it except the release date. Animated films generally do well in mid November. Getting a 'Free Birds' feel for it, and that opened earlier in the month. Factor in Sony Pictures Animation and this is opening above $15m, IMO. |

Wonder has a nice feel to it: recognizable stars, sad-but-uplifting vibe, based on a well-selling book, reminiscent of Cher's Mask (which adjusts to over 120 million), etc. But I am not sure they advertised it enough. The Star should do decently: high-gloss, vapid-feeling animated movie with Christian boost. Justice League - 172 The Star - 18 Wonder - 9 |

Don't underestimate Wonder. We have a ton of group sales for it from schools. It may not impact opening weekend much though. Also, I'm not sure if it will connect with audiences outside of the group sales. 12M Our presales for Justice League suck. I wouldn't be surprised by a letdown. 125M The Star should do okay based on lack of competition. 12M |

Does anyone think Thor being so fresh this time of year will hurt JL OW? Did people get their comic fix to enable them to catch JL at a later date during the holidays? Difficult to quantify but I could see it playing a small factor. JL $130 |
