 Thor: Ragnarok over Justice League Club I'd actually thought JL would outgross BvS but I'm suddenly not sure anymore, while Thor 3 is lining itself up for a +$300m gross. So let's make this a club.

Following MGKC's game there are only 5 out of the 27 players who predicted a higher gross for Thor than JC.

Even with Wonder Woman good will, JL looks dull and unappealing - at least for anything above BvS'
number. Thor Ragnarok on the other hand looks great and certainly has captured all the buzz. It also benefits that it comes out first. JL will open well over the Thanksgiving weekend but drop like a stone after that.

Re: Thor: Ragnarok over Justice League Club Yeah I don't see this happening unless JL really underperforms. I'm still not quite sold on Ragnarok doing $300M+, but I guess if JL sucks and if Ragnarok gets reviews on par with some of Marvel's best than anything is possible.

Re: Thor: Ragnarok over Justice League Club Way out. Thor 2 had horrible WOM. Hulk by himself is not a BO draw. This lacks a Iron Man or Cap to be considered a avengers movie. This is more like Cap 2 coming after a meh sequel.
Thor 2 presales have started and is doing meh(its at 55% of Civil War). Its not even going to gross 250m. No way Justice League goes that low. Dont forget Wonder Woman has ensured there is anticipation to see her again in big screen and Batman is still a draw. Plus Aquaman and Flash are known properties that will bring in more family audience than BvS did.
Even with JL having BvS reviews this aint happening.

Re: Thor: Ragnarok over Justice League Club That seems some good reasoning KS, but this will also have Doctor Strange and I do think Ruffalo's Hulk is more popular than any other Hulk before. Lastly, if it opens to $100m I definitely see it making it.

I believe the critics will get used to DC formula now and WB knows what to do after WW's success, just add a few jokes here and there the visual spectacle will do the rest. I think JL will do $350m whereas Thor will stall at $300m.
