Re: Halloween 2018 - JLC Returns I kind of call bullshit on it testing poorly, everything I’ve seen on social media has been incredibly positive and a friend of a friend has also seen it and loved it, confirming the things TDS has said and then some.

Reboots can do well, but most of the time they're terrible films. Quickly-made slasher flicks with no hook or thought.

Re: Halloween 2018 - JLC Returns I didn't consider IT for the same reason and I would be rather fruitful if you don't treat or compare Halloween to that movie in any way. I hope Excel hasn't gotten in your head.
BTW Evil Dead was a fairly good reviewed reboot and that didn't do well. In most of the cases these horror reboots haven't worked and IT doesn't count for obvious reasons. This will do respectable numbers but I don't think it will do $100m (as someone mentioned the adjusted number for H20?).
