Very solid number. IMAX does not participate in Discount Tuesday and the film played very well in IMAX on Monday.

It's playing very well in the IMAX format today as well. 7 PM IMAX show at Lincoln Square is about 98% sold out and 10 PM IMAX show is about 90-95% sold out...at 11 AM New York time. IMAX should help cause a smaller Wednesday drop compared to something like Apes which dropped 38% last Wednesday.

Apes is and never will be the right comparison for Dunkirk even if your IMAX point is correct.

But what about Baby Driver?

Nice to see Baby Driver over 1 Million again, even if it's only for a day.

It's close to 15% of the weekend with an older audience. It's a great number.

lol Wonder Woman is making less than a million a day and it's still being treated like it just opened.

Dunkirk hasn't had great (good not great) weekdays as of now, will be interesting to see how it does this coming weekend. I can see it dropping hard as well.

Cars 3 is going to finish under $159m at the current pace though would be close to a 3 multiplier. Its OS numbers are even worse currently at just $105m and even though it might have a few more markets it won't even reach $400m WW total.

Probably still won't cure Pixar's fatal case of sequelitis.

Yeah I am surprised that the stack for Pixar looks like more and more sequels which they will eventually run out if their originals don't leave the impact.

You are optimistic. Cars 3 will top out at $153m, no way it reaches $159m. So best case scenario multiplier is 2.85 which is bad for an animated flick but not that far off from Cars 2's 2.89 multiplier.

Yeah I meant reaching $159m would be a multiplier of 3. I don't see it getting there. I am not even sure it will get to $150m but I believe Disney will push it past that mark.
