It won't see the same legs as the original. It will open bigger but have smaller total than the original. Even Spidey with a GREAT sequel could not muster a bigger total so I don't think WW will do that as well.

The first only did well because the SJWs wanted to prove something. The sequel will drop hugely. A total under $300m is on the cards.

If Star Wars moves to December, hopefully WB will be able to move the date forward and take the May slot SW exits.

Wonder Woman will probably move but it'd be very exciting if both came out so close to each other. It's Christmas time so there's more than enough room for both, but it would help neither of them if it sticks I guess.

and to no surprise...WW2 has moved to first weekend of Novmeber.

Thor: Ragnarok should be a good reference for it. I think it should open a bit more than it (125m-130m OW) and will end up with similar legs, perhaps slightly better.

It sounds like the DCEU will start to disband, which would be great news for WW2 if it can work as its own trilogy\franchise

It is a good move considering the legs of the first because the legs of the second will coincide with Christmas and New Year instead of week 3/4 when it will be naturally big then anyway (and now with Thanksgiving). Now I would be surprised if this makes less than the first.

Yeah the general reaction for WW seems positive and her role is getting enough credit in JL so I now believe this will do close to the original's total with $130m/$390m, might even sneak to $400m again. Though I do believe Frozen 2 might bite into its total with a big female appeal.

The sequel won't get the same legs. Feminists and liberals like to make statements but they do not have the backbone to stay with their creations, so the drop off will be noticeable. I would be surprised if the sequel even manages to gross more than the first. Looks like an obvious case of a lesser performing sequel, ala Taken 2, Jack Reacher 2, Neighbors 2 etc. etc.
