That's more instant, but still not going to stop people that watched and loved all the others from seeing it.

CinemaScore tracks opening night feedback (and immediately after the film has finished too!). Most likely (especially with the fifth installment) only fans will show up opening day, so they already know what to expect from this franchise, and going opening day kind of already confirms that they like that brand of entertainment. If anything, I am surprised it's not higher, which probably indicates that US word-of-mouth, even among fans, isn't stellar. _________________STOP UIGHUR GENOCIDE IN XINJIANG
