If it can reach a 4.0 multiplier, then it's excellent. Anything under is pretty average, to be honest.

I'd like to understand why it is average? Not many superhero movies have reached that mark, if any.

I'm just being a prick because I hate the film. Can't you see that?

Still mind-boggling domestic numbers for WW. Hard for me to understand, but nothing new. Another film in the long line of films in history that have had crazy domestic numbers for reasons I don't really get.
Also been a weird summer personally, as I typically enjoy DC films and Nolan films. Yet WW to me was very generic, it felt completely like a Marvel film. That and Dunkirk somewhat underwhelmed and disappointed me.

I agree with Algren, the best multiplier in de top 60 OW of all time is not good enough. 4.0 multiplier or bust.

And yes, I am aware it opened on a Wednesday, but so did loads of other films in the Top 60 and you still counted those as part of the "top 60 OW", so Shrek 2 counts.

Why wouldn't I? They'd still be in the top 60 if their grosses were higher because they hadn't burnt off any demand before the weekend, there's no reason to discount them. Their multipliers have just been skewed in their favour, just like Shrek 2's was.

Re: Wonder Woman daily predictions/discussion
Wonder Woman's $315,000 Friday going into its 12th weekend isn't that far behind Spider-Man's entire 12th weekend ($403,186). It dropped less than 24% Friday to Friday and could see its best hold yet. It still hasn't dropped over 40% since its second weekend. It's also still 4 million ahead of The Hunger Games through the same point as well, while managing a nearly identical Friday number.
Surpassing The Hunger Games seems like it's almost certain, and I wouldn't rule out Captain America: Civil War or Iron Man 3 at this point either.

It needs about a 5.5 multiplier from this weekend to pass IM3. I don't think WB usually does Labor Day expansions, but if they did that would probably guarantee it, and put it in the all time top 20. I think that mark, plus officially passing up all but two MCU movies, should be enough to give WB the inspiration to just go for it.

Re: Wonder Woman daily predictions/discussion
Wonder Woman fell below a daily gross of $100,000 for the first time in it's run yesterday. It made it 96 days in a row over that mark. In the 2010's, I only found Frozen (after it's first 5 days in one theater) and The Force Awakens that had a longer run. Very impressive.
