Is Guardians Vol. 2 also drawing people to the cinema that only go a couple of times a year, or does that only apply to Wonder Woman?

I don't think grandma's will be interested to see another Marvel movie but they "MIGHT" go see a first big treatment of a well received (ugh...) female superhero movie.

We're talking about one film (DC) bringing out people that haven't seen a film in years, and another (Marvel) that gets repeat viewers. It's all just bullshit. Wonder Woman is getting repeat viewers and a couple of fat feminists, just like Guardians Vol. 2 is getting repeat viewers and a couple more fat geeks. Wonder Woman isn't this special type of film that brings out people that have not seen a film in 20 years.

The weekend after there is a direct competitor superhero film almost certainly getting 4,000+ theaters. Weekend after that there is War for the Planet of the Apes.
