Suicide Squad definitely had a fanbase though. Not a wide one, but one good enough.

Anyways, a week ago this club wouldn't have been in anyway realistic. Now it is, unless the reviews are Ghostbusters-esque though Wonder Woman has MUCH more going for it. People actually wanted to see this before the reviews. Now it'll bring in people who might have been on the fence or not even interested.

WW had limited role in BvS. Definitely not enough to take away the novelty. Its definitely building huge hype and with good reviews its potential is huge. 170m prediction at this point is ridiculous.

People are forgetting the tracking numbers and presumed summer "slump". Plus its going to open more than Pirates and Baywatch so its expected at this point in its run to be #1 on anticipated movie charts. Good WoM on this will only help legs I don't OW swinging from $100m to $150m because of reviews.

I love it how he already backtracks. At the start of his post it is a possibility to "top TFA". By the end it is just #2 opening of all-time "may be coming", his confidence in it reaching even #2 of all-time isn't strong, which just proves that he is only here to be "that guy". He's playing a character...."the crazy DC hype guy". Which I find hilarious.

I think it will all come down to how big the OW is. If it does open to 140+ than it should easily beat BvS, especially with good WOM and summer weekdays, however I'm not quite sold on that yet.

"LOCK" no that's too early. Highly Likely - YES but only given the reviews. If this opens to "just" $90m then it won't happen, its a superhero movie so it would still be frontloaded.
