Dunkirk won't do better than Apes. But Wonder Woman will pass Guardians.

Re: KJ's Summer 2017 Box Office Contest
Yeah WW passing GotG2 is what will prevent the 25 point bonus again. Even if WW goes down hard from here on with Spidey releasing I think it will still cross $390m and pass GotG2 in the end. The only concern is that the amount of theaters its holding is still quite big and that shed can make its drops go harder very soon.

So Girls Trip won't figure into anything because it was a backup, right? That's really unfortunate. Should not have been a backup in the first place.

It can definitely be a contender for question #6 (highest grossing film not to hit #1) if the film has decent legs. Otherwise, yep not really. It just didn't score high enough in interest here in the preseason poll to have it as an officially predicted film.

I actually gained 1pt. That big red down arrow unfairly looks like I've done badly, but it's just that others have done exceedingly well.

What a surprise that an African American, female skewing movie didn't get much interest here . It should have been predicted because it had a great chance of a breakout. I'm just bummed though because I would have done really well with my prediction .
