I highly doubt Nolan will take this franchise specially now unless his career goes south.

Can't wait to see what y'all predict for Infinity War. With the HUGE drop for Ultron, and Civil War's poor legs. WOOF! Gonna expect an under $400 mil club for that.

I think this is going to make $450+ mil. Why would it make 120m more than BvS when BvS had clearly more hype despite being just about 2.5 members of the Justice League (yes Wonder Woman had a significant role, but it was not her movie)

Re: JUSTICE LEAGUE less than $325m club*
BVS had Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Do people really believe that Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg are worth an extra $120m? The appeal of THE AVENGERS was seeing them all come together for the first time. We've already seen the most important members of the Justice League on screen together. Chippy wrote: With the HUGE drop for Ultron, and Civil War's poor legs. WOOF! Gonna expect an under $400 mil club for that. Pretty much the same as AGE OF ULTRON and CIVIL WAR made? You're the one predicting a 30% bump for the sequel to a film that only mustered a 1.9 multiplier.

So why are all the people who skipped BATMAN V SUPERMAN showing up? Who are the people who aren't interested in Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, but will totally pay $12 to see Aquaman and the Flash?

Pretty much, yeah. And with a less serious tone, this will attract more families. In my opinion, of course.
But sure, keep on with your argument that a "sequel" to a film with a 1.9 multiplies has never jumped 30%. Please cite your sources when doing so.

Paranormal Activity 4 made half of what Paranormal Activity 3 did. Fifty Shades Darker dropped 30% from Fifty Shades of Grey.
I'm not even arguing that Justice League will fall - it has too much of a built-in fanbase who will cream themselves simply because it exists. Like, well, you. But it sure as hell isn't building audience, because nobody's going to be disinterested in Batman fighting Superman but get excited about Aquaman teaming up with Cyborg,

A spin-off marketed very, very differently involving almost entirely different characters? Sure. I don't think Suicide Squad success says as much about the floor for WB movies as you think. I never said it did. YOU got upset that I am predicting $450 mil for this.
Does my prediction upset you? Look at my trailer comment. You're getting a little touchy.

I'm not. But the reasoning for the predictions for this, and the reasoning for other predictions don't line up. It's not getting touchy with DC/Marvel predictions, it's getting touchy with faulty reasoning for predictions in general.
Y'all acting like Republicans.

The last movie had all of this movie's biggest characters and was received poorly by the public, thus indicating that this movie probably won't out-perform it by much. Pray tell, how is that faulty reasoning?

BvS featured ONE of this films current members, per this trailer. WW was not featured, and was lauded in her minor role.
I'm sorry you don't think Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman won't bring any new elements to the film. I do.

Wonder Woman was a huge aspect of BVS' marketing and has a ton of screen time in the movie, including being a major player in act three. C'mon, dude. Don't be the Donald Trump of movie facts. It's not that I think they will or won't add new elements. It's that I think none of them bring people who aren't interested in Batman, Superman, or Wonder Woman already to a movie theater.

Re: JUSTICE LEAGUE less than $325m club*
There is a caution for JL which wasn't the case for Avengers given that BvS wasn't well received and had (one of the) worst legs for such a HUGE opener.
But I do think there is room for growth for the franchise. I am not even talking about WW here if JL blows out of the park like 90% RT/MC I can see it surprising over OW and do $500m+ but it is looming in the shadows of BvS and has the Snyder curse with it and the trailers while decent aren't inspiring too much confidence that this will be different enough. I still believe this will do slightly more than BvS like $350m-$375m but still won't reach its absolute potential.
