Re: Beauty and the Beast: O/U TDK It needs a 3.06 multiplier to pass TDK's domestic gross. Given the strong internal multiplier for it's opening weekend (it is backloaded already, making more on Sunday than it did on its real Friday), that it is a film that is playing partly as a family-driven film, and that it faces very little real competition in the coming weeks (until The Fate of the Furious opens big, which isn't exactly the same demo), I expect this will pass The Dark Knight's domestic gross.
It will also pass it worldwide, so it will be a trifecta of wins for Beauty (beating it opening weekend, domestically, and worldwide).
