Yeah, it's not a lock, but ever since this thread has been created people have not been able to separate personal feelings from those of logic and history. |

I think the inclusion in great chance is because of the last one making $150m though ofcourse that was holiday season still this one could do $50m less and crawl to $100m. |

Aside from Hangover and Jump Street, comedy sequels always see big drops, especially when the first is meh like Daddy's Home. |

I think I've seen the Daddy's Home trailer more than anything else in the past 2 months. It gets a good reaction and it doesn't look that bad. It'll be interesting to see if Daddy's Home and Bad Moms both do well, mediocre or one completely obliterates the other. |

Most of them are not released soon enough for them to be big like the two movies you mentioned. |

So with a $35m OW does anyone think Annabelle: Creation will reach this mark ? |

... I'm updating the list, why would I keep films that won't make it? If you want to see the previous candidates just go back through the other pages I'll probably update the OP though. $100+ million movies of 2017 (days to $100m) 1. Split (19) 2. Spider-Man: Homecoming (3) 17. War for the Planet of the Apes (11) 18. Dunkirk (10) 19. Baby Driver (47) 20. Girls Trip (28) "Locks" It Thor: Ragnarok Justice League Coco Star Wars: The Last Jedi Great Chance Ninjago Kingsman: The Golden Circle Blade Runner 2046 Murder on the Orient Express Pitch Perfect 3 A Bad Moms Christmas Daddy's Home 2 Jumanji Possible Ferdinand The Greatest Showman Girls Trip will be the last summer film to hit $100m. 5 films in the 'Great Chance' category need to hit $100m to continue the usual around 30 films that hit 100m. |

If it opens to $50m it should crawl to $100m even if it is heavily frontloaded. |

Dam. You really think this will do 50. I'm thinking 27-30. Is this gonna be one of those movies that does 33/80 and it should be seen as a major win and everyone disowns it? |

Even the early tracking suggests higher numbers than $33m. It can be off but I don't think so. |
