Something is wrong with the arrows. I was 11 last week and 10 this one, so it should be up. Also, there are two last week 9 listed. Don't know if that affects everyone.

I mean besides Get Out? Oh, wow you're right. O, i.hope, Rev, and SolC9 could all have a massive 15 point bonus coming to them if what they predicted becomes true: 1. Beauty and the Beast 2. Fate of the Furious 3. Logan 4. The LEGO Batman Movie 5. Kong: Skull Island Fate of the Furious would have to fall below Fast & Furious 6 for it to mess up - which I guess is not impossible, but fairly unlikely to happen. And as long as it can Out gross Fifty Shades, PR should be the highest grossing film to not hit #1 OW..

If Kong passes Batman, no one will get the top 5 again.

Looking at the numbers just realized how GO is close to Batman. The later is going to lose a lot of ground from here with TBB releasing next weekend. I think GO will outgross both Kong and Batman but it doesn't matter as it won't be considered

Jack Sparrow wrote: I wonder if TBB could have decent legs and ruin the Top 5 again this game. That's very true - I think all of us pretty much counted out that movie completely before this past weekend. Fox's lowest multiplier for a spring animation release was Rio 2, with a 3.3 multiplier. That would put The Boss Baby at $167 million - just above my current projection for Kong: Island. I kinda hope that happens to keep up the tradition of no one nailing the top 5. (I really messed up by not having Get Out be a predicted movie - it wasn't even in the poll in the planning thread! )

Ah shit, just missed getting points for my T2: Trainspotting prediction. I hope it now expands and gives my prediction more chance.

Ya I wasn't quite sure on its projection, so that's why I've waited this long to add it to the weekly rankings. It having a lower weekend gross than last after more than doubling its theater count though makes me think its 3rd weekend is going to be its highest weekend gross.

Re: KJ's Winter/Spring 2017 Box Office Contest
It is funny that Sony's highest-grossing film in 2017 is a 2016 release. They should have pushed T2: Trainspotting much more. They're not doing much else!

Re: KJ's Winter/Spring 2017 Box Office Contest
Only three movies left in the game, so unless things drastically change or an older film has Titanic legs, (touch wood) I'm down for the win.

$35m is good for The Circle? Nah dude. $285m is "doing well" for The Fate of the Furious? Hardly. Well within expectations.

The Circle is going to flop. Not the type of movie tons of people pay to see in theatres. It is Hanks in Cloud Atlas/A Hologram for the King mode, box office-wise.

Yes, but a $10-12m opening and a $30m total wouldn't be hard to imagine. I don't think I will be far off. And some of the other predictions are crazy. $88m, $62m, $55m.
