Re: Jurassic World 2 predictions I don't think that's true. JW exploded over its OW because of the legacy of trilogy and brand name. Avatar had great legs over December, plus JW was a reboot and not "an original story"

I have known parents that are too protective and won't make their children see anything remotely scarier and that poster was less family oriented and MUCH more scarier than running from dinosaur's or T-Rex roaring posters (usual ones for this franchise).

I just don't think that poster is any scarier than the new poster, or any previous Jurassic poster. Parents know if these films are appropriate for their kids by now. There have been 4 of them already.

Re: Jurassic World 2 predictions The little girl works in the trailer but not as a poster. It crosses into 'creepy' territory as a still image. Not that I care, but that's how a lot of people might perceive it. Better business decision to go with the other posters.

I don't have a problem with it. Audiences might. Agreed the sell of these movies should be the sight of dinosaurs with their extinct world and not haunting children in their sleep that's a poor marketing strategy.

The imagery was obviously intended to be just horror, it could be interpreted as having another undertone. Just poor marketing choice on the studio's part. Especially with "Life Finds A Way" as the tagline. Lolz.
