So October 2018 or November 2019.

They would be complete fools to open this outside of summer, so that will probably happen.

If it is October than this will easily obliterate the OW record. I mean the only other film opening in that month so far is Andy Serkis's Jungle Book.

Which is another peculiar thing. Why is Warner Brothers now releasing two tentpole films in October 2018, unless Serlis' Jungle Book isn't as high profile as I think it is. Or maybe WB is throwing it away since it got beaten to the punch. Seems odd.

I somehow feel October is not the right time for releasing Batffleck movie. It will open huge but its too far from December to benefit from holiday legs and November will surely see it loosing a lot of theaters with other big movies opening.

I imagine they just want to gain as many monthly records as possible. They have March, now they want to make it impossible for anyone to steal October. They know they'll never get April, May, or June. Might as well strengthen their hold on October.

Though August would be good to have.

This just has to be in July. I think it will be such a mistake to move out of the date TDK films had such success.

November or maybe even December will be good for Batman specially if the initial talk about Oscars is in debate

Probably realized that afflicts credibility was crushed in 2016. And Leto batman is about to possibly ruin society's demand for serious batman until nolan comes to his senses on tdk 4

As disheartening as this is after seeing Live By Night maybe it's time for Affleck to take a break from behind the camera. That movie was a mess and I'm not surprised that the pressure finally got to him.

The new Batman film will come out June 25, 2021 and will star a young Bruce Wayne... so no Affleck.


New Suicide Squad (described as a 'relaunch') is coming out August 2021. Not sure why they have these dated so close together but whatevs. A Suicide Sequel should have come out this year...

Unpopular opinion but Batfleck was the most 'credible' Batman ever. He was the only one who was actually really physically imposing and pulled off the 'scary' Batman part. He brought a real physicality and intensity that none of the other actors did. I rewatched TDK recently and Bale came across as a wimp next to Affleck.

I really liked Ben as Batman too.

I'm not really sure where they're gonna go with this film. Will this be like the upcoming Joker and not be part of the DCEU storyline? If we ever do get another Justice League film Affleck could come back but I doubt he'd want to.

It's rumoured Hamm would be interested in being the Batman. It's definitely more appealing than Superman for actors who want to be credible and not typecast

DC is completely lost. Now we have 2 Jokers. We will have 2 Batmans. Possibly 2 Supermans. It's ridiculous. No continuity, no building out of the DCEU. It's a joke and sad.

No we won’t lol all the movies that was announced before the new regime change at WB is not happening. Going forward only 1 Batman & Superman. Wouldn’t be surprised if they announce soon that Henry is also out.

80% chance Leto won’t be in Birds of Prey or James Gunn new SS movie.
