MoS made 377 overseas. You need a substantiation increase for that to happen.

Even if Synder isn't ousted (which, honestly, is probably very unlikely), I think it's very likely he isn't given carte blanche like he (seemingly) was for MOS and BvS.

I actually always thought this was going to decrease because the novelty is gone but it could still come close to BvS because this isn't actually the entire ensemble.

Re: Justice League Predictions
As much as I would like George Miller to direct this, I think this is truly no option for WB as Miller needed 2 years to finish FURY ROAD and I'm sure they will not be this patient on a movie like JL...

How HILARIOUS would it be if WB snatched up Tim Miller to do Justice League?

They have a director of a Best Picture winner playing Batman, I'd just try to convince him to direct

Re: Justice League Predictions
I don't think they'd need to do much convincing.
But again, I LOVE Snyder, but I'd be fine with him stepping back to just strictly the producer of the DCEU. I love what he's building towards. And if that means more people will like it, even if it's not THAT much different, I'm all for it.

Re: Justice League Predictions
I hope WB really doesn't rush JL and makes right decisions for it. To be honest I am not sure what Affleck or any other director for that matter would do if studios keep on interfering.

Wouldn't that be less than the "inferior" MCU's Avengers Brian?

If it's best for the franchise, I'm fine with a director switch. But I don't want a tonal shift.

Re: Justice League Predictions
They cannot possibly replace Snyder NOW, can they? It is supposed to start shooting next month and replacing him would be a clear statement: "He fucked up our films".

Re: Justice League Predictions
I think they can. If you've seen Snyder lately, he looks absolutely exhausted. That first JL pic with him and Momoa made him look like he hadn't slept in 3 years. I think they could easily say that he's stepping back into a Producer role, and have Affleck as the interim Director.

Re: Justice League Predictions
And then when the tone is lighter the reviews are gonna be like 'where is the grim tone from the last two films??' LOL
WB needs to have a meeting and get shit together if this doesn't open to expectations.

Re: Justice League Predictions
WB should hire me. And they need to consult Greg Berlanti.

Re: Justice League Predictions
If they make a tone shift, it needs to be gradual. You can't go from Man of Steel and BvS to the lightness of "The Flash" series in one film.

Re: Justice League Predictions
Oh, I'm not suggesting a large tonal shift. But the ideas behind what Berlanti does are working.
And everyone will read this movie as "Snyder fucked up good" anyway. WB can't stop that.

Re: Justice League Predictions
I guess it depends on whether they want to be seen as sticking to their guns and staying strong or bending to the will of the critics/audience. We'll see.
I mean from what I saw it seemed like they repeated the mistakes of Man of Steel by sticking to the same formula despite it being disliked the first time around (I am talking about the finale).
