Re: Wonder Woman predictions
I have no doubt this will be huge, but I was left somewhat cold by her in the film after all the hype as a show-stealer. While a fine piece of work, er major action sequence pales in comparison to Quicksilver's in DOFP.

I don't think it's a stretch that to the general public, Wonder Woman is bigger than Wolverine. I know it's a domestic discussion, but worldwide it's nowhere near recent Marvel and DC heroes, right? I haven't heard of her until BvS...

Re: Wonder Woman predictions
I'd say in terms of raw recognition, even with a total lack of movie appearances until now, Wonder Woman is on par with Wolverine. It mostly comes from the novelty of having been the one female superhero of note for so long, but it's still recognition. There finally being a movie for her, and potentially finally being a truly A-list female superhero movie, should give this quite a bit of hype next summer (assuming it doesn't blow).
Opening: $112 million Total: $288.8 million (2.59)

Are you a fan of Wonder Woman or what?, I'd say that even Ironman is more well known than her right now, however she's been around for decades and has been more iconic than any marvel SH, except for Spidey, pre-2008

Re: Wonder Woman predictions
This definitely has potential. Her scenes in BvS easily got the most reactions and if they don't fuck it up it could be quite BIG.
80/235 for now.

I was nine, almost ten when Iron Man came out, and I never liked superheroes. Always loved Harry Potter.

Re: Wonder Woman predictions
This has a HUGE novelty factor associated with it but one has to remember this is also coming after two not-as-well received DC movies. That could limit its potential a bit.

Re: Wonder Woman predictions
Is the WW entrance in BvS the single greatest entrance for a superhero we've seen on film?
I'm leaning towards yes.

I'm leaning towards yes. Off the top of my head, Superman in SUPERMAN RETURNS is better.
