I think the budget will be kept under $100 million and the tone will be more in line of Terminator 1. So, if it can make $150 million in USA and another $250 million overseas then it will be quite profitable after all the revenues are counted. The key for the proposed next two sequels in this planned trilogy to become huge hit lies in the first movie getting good critical reception. If that happens, then it's smooth sailing for the next 2 sequels.

So is it in poor taste to question what will happen with this project if Arnold is unavailable? Does Cameron just snuff it out or do they recast? Surely they wouldn't go the CGI route again.

They pushed it back 3 months. Now coming out on 22nd November 2019.

So this is still happening is it? Are they doing a reboot with Arnold or continuing one with Clarke?

EDIT: Just saw Linda and Arnold are the primary cast with Cameron as producer. Its directed by Tim Miller who did Deadpool original. Excited.

This series really has trouble with those early EW-style publicity shots.

Still, MacKenzie Davis is 3x the actress Emilia Clarke is so I think we're in good hands in that regard if she's the new lead.

A total reinvention of the concept seems like the right move. Take the basic outline of an assassin coming back in time to kill the mother of the future leader of the resistance, but change everything else. Base it on where the future is headed today rather than where we thought it was going 34 years ago.

I wanted to say, a foursome with them wouldn't be so bad...but then the girl on the left looks awfully too young maybe...but then she's 31 actually I found out, so all good.

Having Tim Miller (although what has he done so far really, 1 film, a pretty good one though, only) and Cameron involved should be good too, but why did this image have to look so amateurish, couldn't have been a worse start.

The middle person (girl? I can't even tell) has to be a case of the actor not having completed their workout regimen for the movie yet so they slapped their face onto the stunt double's body. Just like the Tomb Raider poster.
