I am really disappointed in how Box Office Mojo is run these days. Their numbers are always reported late, they haven't done a yearly preview since 2013, they haven't done a weekend preview since the beginning of April (they should do one every week, duh), and they aren't posted until like 9 or 10 PM, long after every other site has gotten its forecast up. They also hardly ever do monthly previews, there hasn't been one since last May. And what is up with the Around the World roundup being included in the Weekend Report. There should be far more articles than there are.

Mojo has gone downhill. The end of the Derby marked a new era of suck for them. What was once my first source for weekend numbers has moved to end of the list.

Seriously? No weekend forecast for avengers? Ray should be fired.

Do they have a staff? Is there not one person over there who thought, gee, the summer movie season starts today, maybe we should write something?

They seem to have a new staff member, Keith Simanton. Maybe he'll restore the site to its former glory.

Does that mean Simpleton is out?

That Friday write-up was better written than anything Simpleton did.

My guess is that Brevet is his permanent replacement. Perhaps Simanton served in an acting capacity until they found someone. Regardless, Mojo is in very good hands now.

The slight typo has been corrected. It now reads "who has"

Brad is slowly rebuilding BOM's cred via aficionados (don't think it ever lost it among the casual audience).

He's also fixing the data typos/errors/omissions from the Age of Keith, as I point them out in visitor posts on the Facebook page. The international data is still missing, meaning stuff like Jurassic World's record opening is missing, but that could take much longer...

I hear the presales are starting next month. You can inherit the tickets to your grandchildren.

I think it's about time that Charlie Hunnam had a Box Office Mojo page.

I don't understand why BOM has to make the website inaccessible during updates. The "check back in a few minutes" gets annoying.

BoxOfficeMojo is conveniently ignoring the gross of Wolf Warriors 2 and only showing it as having earned $1.1m on the 2017 worldwide grosses list, but strangely showing the film's higher gross on its "Foreign" page (but only showing "n/a" on its main page).
