I think Toy Story 4 alone will cover that spread. Giving reasons would be a waste of my time. But just so you know, there are at least 15.

The Toy Story 4 commercial could be me holding up a sign with the release date and it would still explode. Don't even need music or a voiceover.

This should open above 100m but idk... that trailer really looks bland to me.

I liked the trailer, but yeah it feels like something we have already seen in the past movies. I still think its going to make a lot of money, but how much I have no idea.

Trailer isn’t bad, but still seems a little lost in the shuffle. It should gross less than 3, but how much I can’t say. I don’t think it goes much higher than 300m.

A new primary character should offset the serviceable trailer. I'm at $110m OW right now.

It still feels like nobody asked for this, though. Today's youth are into cooler, hip things. Not this. It will make some money but it will drop off from the previous one, and reviews will not be as kind to it.

Its always a concern when a big animated film opens 2 weeks after another. The second one usually falters to an extent.

The toy aisle at Walmart disagrees. Kids are still crazy for the franchise.

Toy story is highly beloved. It will probably drop in OS but domestically it will do great(350m+). Early BO.com projection have it opening at 125m.

Both this and Pets will lose a third of the previous entry’S audience. Talk about 2 animated sequels no one wanted.

Toy Story movies (an earlier Pixar movies) always have great legs even in face of competition. If this opens decently I believe it will do great because I see the ratings and WoM being the usual for this franchise.

Yes it isnt necessary. Love of the franchise (still Pixar's best) will keep it from any major disappointment but the best I can see it doing is matching TS3.

More likely, it will end up between $350-$400m (meaning a strong gross but no major increase like Dory or Incredibles).

Monsters University I feel is a good comparison. 26% drop in admissions would lead to $353.7 m for TS4. Seems like a respectable number for it. Aladdin or Secret Life of Pets mega breakout and may get lost and dip closer to $300 m.

Yes $353m would not be surprising at all.

And yes, it is far too close to Secret Life of Pets. This will only serve to hurt both.

This is going to drop big. The trailers are totally lackluster and don't really make any justification for it existing.
