Can somebody explain to me why Lions Gate is pushing "House of D" up to 304 theaters??? The 2nd weekend drop is horrible and it seems to be dropping hard again this weekend - is it just me who thinks this is kinda weird? :???:

Crash 1,700+ (up from 1500+)

This is GREAT! I hope the buzz it's getting increases it even more. 2000 would be nice!

No offense, but this movies deserves 2,500+ (and you know it)... so I'm rather disappointed, but it might will have an average above $8,000-$10,000 so it can expand the next few weeks...

Raised the same question before. I don't have a clue either, as its PTA will drop to $2000 level.

Yes, they actually really need to switch the theater counts of House of Wax and Crash for some justice to be accomplished, but that extra 200 that was added might mean the difference in me driving 5 minutes, as opposed to 20 minutes to the theater, so I got a little giddy.

I think the expansion was already planned, even before the start of the second weekend. REgardless of how much it dropped, the theater boost still goes as planned. But I do think they will get killed.

Wasn't there some big film festival in New York last weekend? Anyways, amazing for xXx, good for Hitchhiker's and Sahara.

I am starting to think House of Wax will have a very good opening weekend. I wouldn't have thought that a month ago.

XXX: State of the Porkchop looks like it will haul in some dough as well. Once again, I wouldn't have expected it several weeks ago.
