Even though it's only now turning Saturday, I have conceeded and admit I bit off more than I can chew in my Amityville Horror box office prediction and what can I say?? I guess I'm easier to please then most folks and just don't read so much into every detail of a movie, but putting aside excuses, I am now ready to change my signature for 2 weeks, so make it good.. God knows, I know you will cause I deserve it, but I can't necessarily say if and when I'll ever get this excited about a movie again whether it's horror or not, cause for me, it just doesn't happen.. I suppose I should be thankful I at least got 1 bet right with the RING II and that this was too good to last.. ![]() |

By the way, I posted an interesting thread at the Box Office Forum and would greatly appreciate some insight as to how the grading system works for grading a movie at RT that I'm starting to find, well, rather interesting and it's not just this movie, but many others as well.. |

Awww...I kinda like your signature the way it is right now, BKB. Don't feel any pressure to change it just because of your Amityville Horror blunder. |

BKB, we all make mistakes. Even I over predicted The Ring Two. I didn't have an official prediction for The Amittyville Horror, but I'm sure I would have been wrong too. Also, to kill two bird with one stone, RottenTomatoes critics select the "snippet" to post and also their grade and whether it is rotten or not when the post their review. That is according to the official site. |

I think this just proves everyone is wrong somehow. We were wrong about The Ring Two, you were right. You were wrong about The Amityville Horror, we were right. It's the circle of life. |

BKB, atleast The Amityville Horror didn't dissapoint you. You were still, kinda, right. It was better than all the "lame" PG-13 horrors this year. :2up: |

Well, we all know one thing is certain. xXx2: State of the Union will be the highest grossing film of the year. Everybody can agree on that one. |

I say BKB should shove his apology, and instead we should say "thanks" to BKB for keeping us entertained. As an innocent bystander, I get the feeling sometimes he is the puppet master just pulling all of your strings. |

I knew it would not do more than The Ring Two since TR2 was a high-profile horror film like FVJ and AVP. |

Figured this most fit the Box Office forum, since it is about the box office of Amityville horror, so I moved it here. Just FYI. PEACE, Mike ![]() |

BKB, by admitting that you were wrong you just blew the chance to be a powerful man. In real life, you can be wrong on every single thing you do. But as long as you don't admit it and blame others for your failures, you could be the most powerful man in the world. By admitting your mistake you just blew the chance, at the very least, to be the mayor of St. Louis. |
