Re: Predict The CinemaScore's For This Weekend's Openers Two of these are interesting to me. John Wick, despite being widely regarded as a beloved sleeper hit, only received a B. Not sure what happened there, honestly. And Fifty Shades of Grey received a downright awful C+. With the latter, I definitely believe the CinemaScore will improve with a narrowed audience.

Sadly, there's not a lot of other great comparisons to cult films on Cinemascore's site (Zoolander received a C+, though given the BO for that film's sequel, maybe that grade was on the money.)

Re: Predict The CinemaScore's For This Weekend's Openers It is just an odd trend, I guess. I would say Nightcrawler, to cite a random film, is well-regarded. People who see it tend to dig it, believe Jake Gyllenhaal is impressive in it, etc., but it has an awful-by-this-metric B-. Drive has a godawful C-.
