Yes. That $1.7m was seven yeas ago and a midnight gross. Saw 3D had a Preview-OD multiple of 5.3. Jigsaw is going well below that.

They are, as I saw it twice that night.

I don't think this is an earth-shattering number or anything, but it seems pretty good to me. SAW 3D had the hype of being "the final chapter." It just feels like there'd be less of a rush factor now.

(And I saw BoxOffice.com say that was in a time when previews were less successful, but that's bullshit. Previews were already pretty big in 2010)

Ummmm they're infinitely bigger now. Before only big franchises would pull decent preview/midnight numbers. Now even not established franchise movies can open with huge preview numbers.
