Not to jynx it or anything, but I think there is a very small chance that National Treasure can pull a Timeline, but a bit better. I don't know, I think it looks good (which I couldn't say the same for Timeline), and Timeline did very bad. I have no idea why, but I just feel another Timeline in terms of numbers. I hope it does do better, though.

Right now, I'll go with...

Opening- $13.4
Total- $40.2

I'll put up the rest of my predictions later.

Looking at the thread's predictions, here are my 2 big comments.

In my opinion, personally, I think your prediction of 60 million total for the Kranks is very under-rated. Especially with this movie opening over the 5 day Thanksgiving weekend.

Also, I think your estimate of 176 for the Polar Express will be proven wrong. I am wondering if you will revise that as you did with Bridget.

It is unfair to revise initial predictions after the movie's release. I revised Bridget Jones's only when I learned that it going to be released in 500 theatres first. That makes a difference.

Actually I was talking about your total which you increased from 71 to 86, I think. That was just a big difference.

I revised the total before the movie was released and that was also due to the release strategy of releasing it semi-limited first.
