Not too bad of a drop for THE RING TWO. It's headed for about a $41 million weekend, which is a great start! ![]() Nice bumps for basically everything else. |

That's about a 9% drop. Not good. It won't hit $40 million at this point, unless it drops under 30% for today. |

I think it might make like $40 million on the dot once estimates are out. |

So at the moment Ring 2 maybe will gross lesser in the US than Ring 1. A dissapointment. I thought Ring 2 can make 300 Mio+ Worldwide. Now we have to wait. Pacifier hopefully will make its 100+ (Very likely) and so thats already a surprising hit at least for me =D> |

In the meantime, fear not.. REAL Horror is on the way in less than a month... =D> =D> |

People were either in complete denial or sided against BKB just for shits and giggles. |

I think the only shit's and giggle's that came out of this was walking out of the theatre after 2 hours of this.. |

Amityville will open with $20m tops. |

No offense, but AMITYVILLE HORROR probably won't do $50 million. It will probably make around $30 million opening weekend and close with around $80-90 million. It has an R rating and as appealing as that is to most, it WILL hurt this film. The only R-rated films to ever make over $50 million have been THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, HANNIBAL, 8 MILE and THE MATRIX RELOADED. Those films had a LOT more hype surrounding them. I'm sure it will do well, but I just can't see it opening to that much. |

Nebs wrote: Amityville will open with $20m tops. I agree, I don't think that it can top 50m or even 40m, maybe 30m. |
