Yeah NWH is good enough behind Endgame to cover the difference from just evenings.

Will be ahead by 20k+ from yesterday at 7PM so it could happen on paper, though unless mimorin counted wrong it has a lot less shows for the evenings which'll make it hard to keep the lead unless great %.

And JJK will finish the day even or ahead from last week's sat in gross, spidey release really did not affect it much, as expected still has more than enough shows for its numbers regardless.

NWH's Sat leaded Fri ~20k till 19:00 PM, then suddenly dropped and ended up around Fri due to not enough showtime ? .. sad

It was expected. Remember the pattern for MCU movies.

if Sat matched Fri from hour to hour from afternoon till the end of the day, then there would not have anything to say. But here, Sat lead Fri ~20k till 19.00PM, then it stopped growing, and ended up the same as Fri. That's what made me dissapointed. It is like the the nightshow was suddenly cut. Or people suddenly didn't go to the cinema at night after 7pm.

That was the case with most MCU movies and Endgame as well.

Friday OD having better evenings than saturday isn't that uncommon. Friday evenings are usually stacked since all the people working can only go to theaters when they get off, saturday is more well distributed. I was skeptical it would keep the lead anyways, 20k is alright but not that much and it conceded some of its evening shows back to JJK on saturday.

Anyways it's not a big deal, it's literally 1% below yesterday and still well above far from home.

Technically it dropped, but it's so small I'd rule it as remaining flat. Very, very similar to Endgame so far in its patterns. Probably not surprising. As the two most hyped MCU films, it makes sense that everyone interested in the films would turn out for these two films.

Very impressive third Saturday. Just a ~5% or so drop in admissions versus last Saturday, but since last Saturday was a discount day, it very likely saw an increase in revenue. So it's looking at either a flat third weekend, or a potential third weekend increase if Sunday comes in strong. And Monday is a national holiday.

Second fastest film to reach ¥7 billion, and ties Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle as the second fastest films to reach 5 million admissions.

Jjk0 won't reach 10b from here such a flop.

To top it Spiderman seems to be completely flopping as well.

Do you think NWH will have legs like AEG, IW or FFH ?

Doubt it matches the legs of Endgame or Infinity War, as both of the opened the weekend before Golden Week started, but it shouldn't be as frontloaded as Far From Home.

Should be looking to finish safety between ¥4.5-6 billion (~$40-50 million). Lower-end if it follows the trajectory of some of the more frontloaded MCU films (which includes FFH); higher-end if it spawns legs comparable to some of the leggier MCU films.

Similar to Saturday in comparison to Endgame. Pretty good start.
