Also, all the Demon Slayer fans will be happy to know it's still hanging in there. Its numbers have dropped off, but it's blowing yesterday away and might remain in the top 5 for its 27th weekend. (If not, it'll be pretty close).

The pace is now quite considerable down. 300-350K depending oom any sudden change, more likely down side.

It's tracking pretty much the same as 23 right now, but given corpse mentioned the huge amount of theaters will lower the % of usual locations relative to the usual, it'll probably still set the franchise record atleast for saturday.

Might fall short at usual locations, though.

Usual Locs - 179,626 Admits (255 locs / 704 per)
Independent - 20,784 Admits (25 locs / 831 per)

Untracked locs seems huge. Usual locs were 57.25% from 70% locs. There must be something wrong here.

DC 24

Usual - 237,106 Admits (259 locs / 915 per)
Independent - 23,377 Admits (24 locs / 974 per)
Untracked 214 locs. Like WTF.

Just assuming usual locs were 57% mean 415K admits. I guess 450K is possible.

If today hit 350K, that should be around 700k admits overall and 1B Yen. A slightly better say 375k, shall mean 750k admits of 1.08B. DC23 had 25% higher Sunday, giving a lower 20% will mean 1.3B Sunday. 3B 3 days may happen.

Let's hold on for 2.2B-2.5B as of now which is just huge

Seems like will settle around 330K. That will be 575-600K admits I suppose giving 800M.

It will follow the trend of the declining Saturdays, at least at the usual locations. Will be interesting to see how it performs on Sunday.

This also shows that the usual locations aren't accounting as much for its overall admissions/gross due to the record theater count. It did 10-15% better than the already decently high non-usual share I gave it.

But corpse, don't you think the average ticket price of Detective Conan 24 is low even with the premium format shows?

Rural prefectures (mostly not accounted for at the usual locations) perform better than urban prefectures on average on weekdays (which includes Friday) than they do over the weekends. Urban prefectures still perform better of course, but the share is lower.

The share will be higher for the urban locations (which the usual locations mostly track) than on a Friday.

A little lower than expected, at least based on the first day. But there are way, way more standard showings versus premium showings. You can more easily increase standard showings than you can premium showings, which are usually limited to less screens. That's likely balanced it out.

And for some reason I cannot get Twitter to load for me. Can you guys double check to make sure the moviewalker editor's tweet on its first day is 450,000 admissions and NOT 405,000? If you're using google translate, it will often mistranslate numbers with a 0 following the first number in Japanese. Is it 45万0000 or 4万5000?
