It appears BLADE TRINITY isn't such the dissapointment that people first thought....

$117.2M and it has still to open in this franchise's massive territory, JAPAN.

It's already passed BLADE 1 internationally. and is about to pass BLADE 2 in coming weeks.

Blade 1: $131,183,530
Blade 2: $155,010,032
Blade 3: $117,200,000 (Still to open in JAPAN).

It is thought that BLADE TRINITY will gross at least another $15,000,000 internationally. Taking it's total past $132,000,000.

BOM INTL reports:

"Blade: Trinity has $64,802,148 to date and with Japan still ahead will likely pass Blade II's $72,801,778 total to become the highest grossing movie in the franchise."

Awesome news.

I'm glad this was another straight consecutive hit for Jessica Biel! :)

So yeah, it didn't dissapoint at all. As it's going to pass the others in some accounts.

Nice for Biel yeah.....

but it makes me vomit how they destroyed the franchise with part 2 and 3. I love the first one but the rest is ](*,)

'Dissapointment' lies with the individual.

And you are welcome to that opinion. I for one did not like Catwoman. I plan to actually rewatch it to see if it was really that bad. Surely it can't be, can it?
