What?!?! That's shocking I'd expect that to be the cast salaries alone

The Z2 cast probably got fat backend deals.

That's bonkers. In that article, it's vaguely mentioned they're looking for about half the viewership of the budget. So they may or may not be looking to get 75 mil views for it.

That's massive.

All of those budgets should be ashamed of themselves.

Yeah, Genysis made 450M WW, was saved from disgrace by China (which is a pretty unreliable and unprofitable country), definitely hurt a franchise that already lived in the past and that just had 4 years to recover; add the sad fact that these sci-fi movies are eaten alive by the standardization set by Marvel and the sh genre craze in general ...and yet they spent close to 200 millions for the next (and last) chapter?

Charlie's Angels budget is 48m. That's actually pretty good. It doesn't seem like it'll even do 50m domestically but hopefully it can do ok overseas.

It shouldn't have a problem making a profit with this budget, even when it decreases Night at the Museum style.

Good lord. This is what happens when a movie is done with production for over 2 years.

Good thing 1917 won big at the GGs and now has more hype because that's almost as much of a budget as Dunkirk.

Deadline claims Underwater's budget is actually $50 and not $80 million.

I dunno... underwater stuff *is* expensive and Disney is a notorious fudger. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
