Ralph cost $175m and it's only made $285m worldwide after being out for a month.

Is this the surprise flop of the holiday season?

Surprised by the reported budget of Aquaman at $160m, $200m sounds ok but I think it might have been more than that as well.

Great budget for Bumblebee but it was expected after the last Transformers debacle.

HDD probably cost too much considering how poorly it's doing compared to the first one.

I doubt Alita: Battle Angel will make a profit even if the studio got every cent of all worldwide ticket sales. Though I hope it will do well in China, it's not currently looking like it will.

$200m budget and probably north of $100 for prints and advertising. Could be looking at $700m-ish breakeven point. Disney may have to write this off.

Alita is 20th Century Fox (or privately financed by James Cameron and his network and distributed for a fee by Fox, not sure). I don't believe it has anything to do with Disney.

Alita was always going to bomb. American audiences do not care about manga outside of small niches.

I think he's saying Disney because of Disney buying Fox.

Not just a niche, but a small one too! Hmm, I wonder how it made $28-$30 million in 4 days. Must be that small niche having thousands of repeat viewings.

I wonder how Fighting will do. Wrestling is niche and the story seems even more niche but the reviews are shockingly good.

And the budget is small enough that it just looks like a very smart release.

Kind of a huge budget for Captive State. Should have moved it to July in the Purge spot.

80 mil is a lot for Wonder Park as well. They were clearly expecting a much bigger franchise starter type of film

Wow. That's big for Wonder Park. Though I guess not too surprising. Animated movies usually cost at least close to that.
