Another great hold for the local blockbuster...

JOKER still has a 25 % chance to beat SUPERMAN to become DC's biggest movie of all-time...

Looks like opening day of FROZEN II with 20 % of the country on school holidays will be bigger than THE LION KING's opening day (72 % school holidays)...

Unfortunately Thursday and Friday have 0 % school holidays...

How is WOM. Is there any site that tracks user reviews in Germany.

Edit: even bigger question is since insidekino has so much data, is there any plans to modernize it. It seems like a page from 90's :-) Then you can have user review page for movies as well.

Filmstarts.de has user-ratings, but I have no idea how useful they are...

I have lots of plans to modernize insidekino, but time is my most precious resource and I still haven't found a way to clone myself...

This is probably the most reliable foreign market for the series alongside UK and Japan at this point, no?

SW9 opens with 1.71m admissions in 5 days...

Expect very healthy box office during the next 14 days (except Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve) which will probably lead FROZEN II to surpass THE LION KING sometime next week to become the biggest movie of 2019...

So yesterday FROZEN II did indeed pass THE LION KING and is on its way to become the biggest movie since SW7...

Good idea. I'm going to copy you and post a Top 10 of the Decade, too.

Looking at the list, 2012 was a big year for Germany. Where does it rank among other years?

Following the link you'll see yearly admissions in millions in the 2nd column, 3rd column is yearly b.o. in Euros:
