That's a huge gap between 2 and 3. Hopefully something breaks out, especially Tenet.

Yesterday, SW9 passed the 5m admissions mark...

This tweet shows the franchises with the most movies above 5m admissions (WINNETOU is a local Western franchise from the 1960s and MITTELERDE means middle earth):

So RISE OF SKYWALKER is now the biggest b.o. movie of 2019 (it's still ranked 4th in admissions and might drop to No. 5 when all is settled) and enters the Top 20 of all-time...

A powerful storm cut into Sunday's box office but BIRDS OF PREY was d.o.a. even before Sunday's weather event...

Judging by Thursday sales, SONIC is heading towards the biggest opening of the year (450,000 admissions), beating BAD BOYS FOR LIFE (439,289)...

Official numbers for 2019 are up...

118.6m admissions is the fourth worst total since re-unification. Only 2018, 1992 and 1990 had worse numbers...

Only bright spot is the fact that admissions were up by 12.6 % vs. 2018...

SONIC is a surprise No. 1 as everyone expected local comedy NIGHTLIFE to lead.

PARASITE enjoys a jump of 1,201 % post-Oscars and has its biggest weekend yet (double the opening weekend)

SONIC stays on top while PARASITE improves again and CALL OF THE WILD flops...

Just curious, what is the reason for the low fatality from the coronavirus in Germany compared to other European countries?

I think it's fine to be cautious. They can always reopen early if they want to.
