With my own current projections (likely to change): Hide and Seek - 92.73% ( 20.4 / 22.0 ) Alone in the Dark - 0.00% ( 5.2 / 2.6 ) Are We There Yet? - 84.83% ( 12.3 / 14.5 ) Coach Carter - 95.83% ( 6.9 / 7.2 ) Meet the Fockers - 86.84% ( 6.6 / 7.6 ) In Good Company - 93.33% ( 5.6 / 6.0 ) Racing Stripes - 89.29% ( 5.0 / 5.6 ) Assault on Precinct 13 - 86.84% ( 4.3 / 3.8 ) Sideways - 73.21% ( 7.1 / 5.6 ) Million Dollar Baby - 68.00% ( 13.2 / 10.0 ) The Aviator - 73.13% ( 8.5 / 6.7 ) The Phantom of the Opera - 82.93% ( 4.8 / 4.1 ) Avg: 77.247% I overpredicted most award films... but I proved everyone wrong by going with a very low drop for Are We There Yet! With the other projections people are using I have: 80.65% (Derby - 80.84% with $6.9 Aviator & $4.1 Phantom) |

Wow, Bill, look like you will win derby again. I thought I had a chance by going a low 4.2 for Alone in the Dark, but you went even lower and nailed it. EDIT: BOM numbers are up, and Alone in the Dark won't get 3M for the weekend. |

There's probably a few high "quiet" players as well, as the Derby Average % (without Aviator and Phantom) is 78.08%... |

I updated with my projections, and 6.8 for The Aviator and 4.0 for The Phantom of the Opera. With those, I have 82.16% for the derby. Alone in the Dark bombed so bad that it actually helps a lot of people, since anybody predicted above 5 is all geting zero, and I couldn't benefit much from the 4.2 prediction. |
