And I only highlighted Elektra.

And for reference, I predicted $26.75 million for Elektra over the four-day weekend...

I think Are We There Yet? has a slight chance as well. It would need an $8,000 PTA, which doesn't seem too out of reach considering that Johnson Family Vacation some how scored a $7,000 PTA. Barbershop had a $12,800 PTA and Barbershop 2 had a $9,000 PTA. There's a good chance, unless competition is too overwhelming.

I think Are We There Yet? will do around $22-$24 million for the weekend. It has a double demographic -- urban and families (PG rating). Racing Stripes will be its only competition for the family demographic, and Coach Carter will compete with it for the urban demographic. I do, however, think that Are We There Yet? will end up on top.

Even though the theater count for Are We There Yet? is estimated for 2,500 theaters somehow it is going to get alot of theaters since its distributor is Sony Pictures which gets big counts for its movies.

It almost made it. Snowstorm had an effect I'm sure.

Cursed has a good shot next weekend. It's getting 3,000 theatres at the least.
So all it needs to top $20M for the weekend (on 3,000) is a $6,670 Pta.

Horror 2005 PTA's

White Noise - $10,665
Hide and Seek - $7,307
Boogeyman - $6,232

And Boogeyman had to deal with the Superbowl drop, so if it was a normal weekend, it would have cracked $20M aswell.

I rekon Cursed could be joining this list very shortly.

Cursed has a chance at $20m. But, I believe the next entry to the $20m openers list will be either Be Cool or The Pacifier or both of them on March 4th.
