PJ and his team have managed to score back to back to back $300+ Million Domestic blockbusters and there's little reason to think King Kong will stop this streak. It has adventure (Jurassic Park), romance (Titanic), and the PJ touch.

Meh, that thread's old and decrepit.

Count me in, Kong will be huge. I agree the elements are there to bring in all kinds of crowds and while I admit I have some small concerns regarding how widely anticipated it really is beyond the internet, Jackson fans and cinephiles (just based off comments made by others about the people around them more than anything) if it lives up to expectations there's no reason it can't bring in big numbers.
