I'm not really anticipating watching it, but I see grand potential in it.
I think it could be the no-one saw it coming movie of the winter. Even the Pacifier made 110 mil. A family movie with mr nice guy struggling with 18 kids, while trying to stick with his wife, and so on. For families-Oh hell yes. It appeals in a grand way. And its got a nice release spot in the holidays at the end of November, with Harry Potter's second weekend, Walk the Line expanding, and opening with Ice Harvest and Just Friends which both are due to do just alright numbers.
Heh that poster is great. To us it screams lame, but it does get the point across. I mean how can you deny that Dennis Quaid expression? For now I say:
26 mil opening 3-day, 118 mil total. Surprise of the holidays.
Exactly what is great or original about the poster? It's Dennis Quaid and Rene Russo (two more actors who deserve better) making over-the-top, cartoonish faces.
