After the 170M budget for Dumbo, nothing can shock me. It's also funny how they spent dozens of millions on a CGI dog that will probably keep quite a few potential moviegoers away from the movie. |

Disney is really bad in controlling budgets. Good budget for Bloodshot and The Way Back though the later will bomb even with that budget. I don't think The Hunt will make back its budget as well |

I think with the new CEO there will be better control over budgets. |

I think theatrically they won't but overall the budget is snap enough for them to double their budget and I don't think marketing for TH and TWB cost much |

Yeah $21m-$25m is a bit too much for movies like these in this market. To get them past $60m domestic or around $75m WW is a bit too difficult now. It should make money for them in the end with streaming and home media sales. |
