Going to be some disappointed folks when BR falls a bit flat OW. I don't think a mid 20's OW is anything to be upset about, though.

Re: November 2 - 4 Predictions
Why say that when everything is pointing towards a huge breakout?
Also, what do we think Dark Phoenix makes here if it had stayed? Assuming it stuck with that lame first trailer, then has a better one in space, followed by a desperate third that spoils the whole movie; I’d give it right around $50M. Basically the lowest an X-Men movie can go.

I think a drop closer to the very high 30s is more sensible. As for Nutcracker, it's presales on Fandango are tracking above CR (according to BOT). We'll see how reviews go for it but I doubt it's going sub-20m. We'll see. But both of these being music films makes it feel more like a direct hit. Star will recover for sure. I did up my Nutcracker prediction to 23.3 Million. I won't be shocked if it goes higher though. Ticket sales through Fandango are similar to House With A Clock In Its Walls.

Do people even automatically equate Freddie Mercury with 'gay'? It's not the first thing that comes to mind for most people, unlike say Elton John.

Re: November 2 - 4 Predictions
With ghastly reviews and muted anticipation, Nutcracker is going to have an ugly domestic run. Guess Disney had nowhere else to stick it.

Re: November 2 - 4 Predictions
Surprised so many theaters already dumped The Hate U Give. 37% decline is steep considering how well it performed last week.

I get mixing those two up. Seen ads on multiple channels, our poll interest is surprisingly high for a film that is opening limited in 5 locations. Kidman's still got it!
