Guess Who is currently at 67% on RT. Though it's early, that's still really good. In comparison, Bringing Down the House was 34%.

It's still racism the other way round, and i just don't find it particularly funny. Hopefully this won't do well.
There's lots of mixed marriages these days - I think it's a valid basis for a movie - especially since I've heard it deals with race in a forthright way and with a subversive sense of humor (...if anything it is your claim of racism which is closet racism.)
...and of course it's not going to be the other way round - then they wouldn't have Bernie Mac and would lose out on the key urban black audience.

change my prediction
Opening - 22
Final - 54
Its getting some good buzz plus all these high predictions makes mine look way too low, im also 100% sure it wont do big time like some of you predict though, theres no indication of it.

I'm really thinking this could have a $30M weekend. Good Friday's gross will probably be about $10M, but it might not hold over the weekend. I'll make a final prediction of $27M opening and $87M final.

I'm not quite sure. I haven't seen too many ads, but what I have seen should be effective.

Closet racism? I'm not really sure if the movie is racist, I'd have to see it myself, but I think it's a legitimate question. I don't think you should suggest someone's motivated by racism without evidence of it.

That's surprising, because I've seen nothin' but Guess Who ads lately.
