I'm honestly surprised in SAW's gross.
I'm happy for it.

So am I. Soon, I will retitle this thread into Saw International Tracking Thread and track its international grosses. It already fared exceptionally in the UK and I hope it will break $100 million worldwide.

I'm not surprised. From the moment they commercials starting showing, people in my school were anticipating this movie. It's got that unusual, sick feeling you want to have during the Halloween time.

Hmmm.... a dunno if it was a Halloween type movie, because the movie wasn't that scary...i think it could have been released any time of the year.
But halloween did help inflate it.
I just really wish they werent making a sequel.
Though, if i made a movie for $1M and it grossed over $50M alone in the US, i suppose i would make a sequel.

SAW has finally passed $50 million and soon it'll have made 50 times its production budget. This amazing feat is achieved by only a very few movies nowadays, so kudos to SAW, the best horror movie of the year! It is around $13 million ahead of House on Haunted Hill right now and Hoouse on Haunted Hill has made a bit over $4 million from this point on. Considering that the gap between both movies gets bigger with each new weekend, I project SAW to end up with around $57 million.
