The Glass Castle received an A-. Annabelle: Creation received a B.

I'll predict a B+ for both The Hitman's Bodyguard and Logan Lucky.

Correct on both counts. Nice job.

My predictions for next Friday's glorious crop:

All Saints - A
Leap! - B+
Birth of the Dragon - B

The usual A for a low-budget, Kirk Cameron-flavored religious movie. Doesn't seem "electric" or confrontational enough for the A+, though. A B+ for Leap!, comparable to those Hoodwinked! movies. Seems cute enough and should please the small family audience it attracts. Birth of the Dragon is hard to predict. It will play to a very niche audience...dudes in their late 20s to 40s with enough interest in Bruce Lee to turn out. This type of hyper-small and largely male genre crowd often results in muted CinemaScores. My mind, however randomly, almost goes to the C+s received by Collide this year and Morgan last year. But then there is also Bleed for This' A-. I'll predict this to land in the middle.

Logan Lucky getting B is surprising to me. I thought that Soderbergh's fans would get this one to B+ or more.

I do not think Soderbergh has a loyal fan base like the Coens, Nolan, Tarantino etc.

He has a good casual fanbase as well but not in terms of quantity but the people would generally like what he makes.

I'm not so sure. I consider myself a Soderbergh fan, but he is hit-and-miss. More hit than miss but still he's made some underwhelming films (Magic Mike, The Informant!).

I know it's generally harder for a horror movie to please audiences but I think IT will do it. Could get the highest CS rating for a horror film.
