47 Meters Down screams bad-CinemaScore to me, even before seeing it. A movie where mainstream moviegoers will find ways to be dissatisfied: not enough sharks, not enough scares, "it was mostly just these two girls in a cage underwater" (go figure), etc. |

After seeing 47 Meters Down I'm lowering my CinemaScore prediction. People laughed a lot at parts that weren't supposed to be funny and some people seemed semi-hostile when it ended, complaining that the ending sucked and there wasn't enough shark action. |

I agree with you re: Despicable Me 3. Even Minions, the one people supposedly found middling, received an A. I'll go lower on The House. C+. |
