Re: 2024 Draft Group 1 I think zwackerm wins this group. And dare I say it, I think he does it with ease.
Also - not that it's a stat I care for much - but I think he will win it overall when all players are ranked together. He currently has $454m, and his top three are Wicked, Joker, and Beetlejuice. That's $900m right there. The most I can get is $1.25bn or thereabouts. SolC9 could disrupt if LotR surprises, but I expect that to do less than $100m, so he's not catching me or zwackerm. stuffp could even beat him.

Chapter 2 plays at the Venice Film Festival on 7th September. Wolfs isn't in theatres until 20th September. So based on the audience reaction there's two weeks for New Line/Warner Bros. to decide what to do with Chapter 2. Re: 2024 Draft Group 1 Joker: Folie a Deux is the worst pick of the draft, but I reckon LOTR is a very close second. It was picked in round 5 where I picked A Quiet Place: Day One and Shack picked Mean Girls. So there were big movies still picked in that round, and LOTR may not even make $10m.
flip1 went from a $193m round 4 pick to LOTR in round 5 currently at $4.9m, and every one of his remaining picks will outgross it.
